Cucumber Patio Snacker is a compact, high-yield variety perfect for small gardens, patios, and raised beds. This bush-type cucumber thrives in containers, producing an abundance of 6-8 inch crisp, burpless cucumbers with a smooth, sweet flavor—ideal for snacking, salads, and pickling. Burpless cucumbers have thinner skins and lower levels of cucurbitacin, the compound that can cause bitterness and indigestion, making them easier to digest and perfect for fresh eating.

Exceptionally heat-tolerant and easy to grow, this low-maintenance plant requires no trellis, making it perfect for beginner and urban gardeners. Its bushy growth habit and continuous fruiting ensure a steady supply of fresh cucumbers all season long. Grow fresh, delicious cucumbers right from your patio!

Cucumber Patio Snacker -

Fun Fact:
The Patio Snacker cucumber was specifically cultivated to thrive in containers and small spaces, making it perfect for apartment balconies or urban gardens. Its crisp fruits are ready to pick early, giving gardeners the satisfaction of fresh, homegrown cucumbers even without a large garden plot.

Fun Fact:
In the first century AD, Roman Emperor Tiberius demanded fresh cucumbers year-round, leading gardeners to grow them in movable beds that could be shifted into the sun or shelter. Patio-style cucumbers like Patio Snacker continue that tradition of adapting food crops to limited space and controlled growing conditions.

Fun Fact:
Cucumbers are made up of about 95 percent water, which is why they’ve been valued for centuries as a cooling food in hot climates. Patio Snacker’s mild flavor and thin skin make it especially refreshing when eaten fresh during summer heat.

I was so excited to receive these plants but

I was so excited to receive these plants. Both were hanging on by an unsalvageable thread by the time they arrived. Parts of the stems looked like they were already breaking down and in the process of rotting. They've since died. I know travel can be rough on little plants. I wish I could have given them the life I was so excited to provide for them but sadly it was pre determined before they even arrived that it wasn't meant to be... 😢

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY - if you have an issue, they will not resolve it..
