In 1957, Robert Kuehnle Sr. began selling flowers and vegetable plants at his neighborhood grocery store on Chicago's South Side. He raised the plants on his Michigan farm, and customers quickly learned they could count on him for healthy plants, honest advice, and exceptional service. More than 65 years later, that same commitment continues to guide Clovers Garden.
Today, Clovers Garden remains family-owned and operated by James Kuehnle and family. While we continue serving gardeners in our local stores, we've expanded our reach by shipping plants daily to gardeners across the United States. Every plant we sell is carefully selected for quality, maintained by our team, and carefully packaged for shipment. Our goal is simple: provide the finest plants possible and help every customer enjoy greater gardening success.
